The R&S®FK4150U matches rod, whip and wire antennas – as used in submarine applications – to the RF output of the 500 W transceivers of the R&S® M3SR Series 4100. It can handle up to 500 W CW and PEP at a 100% duty cycle with rod/whip antennas of 7 m to 10 m length. The R&S®FK4150U operates in the frequency range from 1.5 MHz to 30 MHz, where it performs an antenna impedance transformation into 50 Ω in both the receive and transmit modes. Additionally it provides preselection in the receive mode.
